Race around a marked course against three other Jet Skis.
On the opening screen you are firstly given the choice of which colour bike you want to control. Click on the colour you want. This bike will highlight and you will then be given the option to choose how many laps you would like for your race. Click in one of the four boxes to choose 2,4,6 or 8 laps. The final choice is which skill level of opponent you want to race against. There are three levels of opponent - Novice, Semi Pro and Pro - each one driving faster than the one before. Choose a level by clicking one of the three buttons. This will then take you to the race circuit.
Basically you have to guide your jet ski bike around a course marked by floating marker buoys. Hit the buoys or another bike and you will bounce off. To control your bike see Controlling Your Jet Ski below. To win the game you have to get round the track and finish the number of laps you selected before any of the Computer jet ski's do. You can move your Jet Ski when the Countdown has reached Green. The number of Laps you have completed is shown in the coloured corner of the screen for your Jet Ski i.e. if you chose red, then your details are shown in the top left, black is top right, blue is bottom left and green, bottom right. Each lap is timed against the clock for each bike and this is displayed in each corner next to the Lap number. Next to that is your best overall lap time for this game and this is used for Best Lap Times leader board. If you have an overall lap time which is faster than any of the top ten in the leader board, you will be asked your name if you click the "Click Here For Best Lap Times" button displayed at the end of the game.
Controlling Your Jet Ski
To control the jet ski you chose you use the Arrow Keys on your keyboard. The Up arrow is used to increase speed and does not need to be pressed all the time throughout the game. To slow down or brake tap the Down arrow key. To turn the jet ski to the right, press the Right arrow and left, the Left arrow. Remember, when your Jet Ski is facing down, your left and right changes i.e. you control it just as if you were sitting on the bike.
Hazards
You can bump into the marker buoys at anytime without damaging your jet ski but your bike will bounce off causing a brief loss of control. Colliding with another bike will also cause you to bounce without damage but the underwater noise the bump creates can attract sharks. If you keep bumping into other bikes then sharks will start to be drawn to the area. They can cause you problems as they swim near the surface and can obstruct you when racing.
